Local Outreach Ministries                                 

  • Nursing Home Ministry- Every second Monday of the month we provide
    service for the elderly at the Beverly Healthcare facility.

  • Visitation- We hold a scheduled visitation ministry each Thursday at 10 am
    and 7 pm.  (Except for the first Thursday of the month.)  We reach out to those
    who are sick and not able to join us in worship and fellowship.

  • Rescue Mission- We minister at the Rescue Mission every first Thursday of the
    month at which time we hold a service which presents music and the Gospel
    message.  We also provide refreshments.

  • Evangelism- B.O.L.D. (Bread of Life Deliverers) for Christ is an evangelism
    training ministry followed by door to door presentation of the Gospel of
    Christ.  It meets every Saturday morning at 9 am.         
             
Ministries at Evangel Baptist Church         

  • Golden Agers- Meets with those age 50 years and up and fellowships regularly
    with planned area trips.

  • B.Y.K.O.T.A.- (Be Ye Kind To One Another)  A ladies missionary fellowship
    for all ages.  There is a time of devotions, fellowship, and ministry.  They meet
    twice a month; the second Tuesday at 10 am and the third Tuesday at 7 pm.  
    Four times a year these in the evening are hosted as a Ladies Fellowship with
    devotions and refreshments.

  • Men's Monthly Prayer Breakfast- Includes all men.  They meet the 2nd
    Wednesday of every month at Shoney's Restaurant at 9 am.

  • Choir and Orchestra- The musical ministry of our church meets with choir
    practice every Sunday at 5 pm and orchestra practice every Saturday at 9 am.  
    All are welcome.

  • Teens- We invite all teens 7th-12th grades to grow in their faith.  They meet
    every Sunday at 7:30 pm and Wednesdays at 7 pm.  They also have a Teen
    Activity  each month.

  • AWANA- A children's ministry for 3 years of age -6th grade which meets
    Wednesday nights at 7 pm with a lesson, verse memorization, and game time.
